Our motto: Run2theRoar

On the back of each of our buckles is stamped “Run2theRoar”. We share this expression to encourage every Bronco Buckle owner when he dresses for the day’s battle to be fearless, assertive, and intentional when facing the roar the day: the roar of the crowd, or the roar of inner fear or doubt. By running to the roar, rather than from the noise, uncertainty, doubt or fear, we confidently assert ourselves to rise above, win the day, and win the race. And thus we win the reward of being wholly ourselves and fully engaged in life. So, it is our hope, that along with this buckle, the wearer will be encouraged to be the best version of himself, to live in truth, and to be a man of action.

The meaning of “the roar” can also be understood in the story of a hunting pride of lions. The pride quietly surrounds the gazelles. On one side are the old lions whose best hunting days are in the past. On the other side, are the young and strong hunters. At the right moment, the old lions roar their presence. The startled and frightened gazelles mistakenly and instinctively run from the roar and straight into the young, ferocious, and skilled hunters of the pride. And in the process, the gazelles become the lions’ dinner. If only they had run to the roar, the greater danger would have been avoided and they could have lived to see another day grazing on the savanna. A salutary lesson for gazelles… and all of us.

So it is our wish that our buckles quitely whisper and remind men to: Run2theRoar.
